Teaser Tuesday

Made it back in time for teaser tuesday 😉 My current read is The Dud Avocado which I got for 90p in a Charity shop, I love London!

My head was spinning by now from all this rich, powerful prose, and apart from everything else I looked forward to the chance of spending an evening with Larry on a basis other than professional.

So into the trap I marched, eyes shining, mouth open, ears flapping.

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should Be Reading and this is how it works:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

  1. OK, well, the lady on the cover looks to be wearing some rather dangly earrings. Perhaps that accounts for those (misquote) “flapping ears”.

    Here’s mine.

  2. A weird image of what I imagine to be a woman running after a man like a dog?

I’m so jealous of your having been to London!

  3. Interesting teaser! Love the cover of the book! Looking forward to reading your review of it.

Charity shop looks like a wonderful place where one can spend the whole day browsing books!

So, you were in London and that is why ‘If You Can Read This’ has been a bit quiet these days 🙂

    1. Yup, I was in London for 8 days getting my yearly fix of books, shows and the city 🙂 Still have to write one paper but after April 8th I should be back to regular blogging!
